The Magic Behind Staging- Not How it Looks

Recently, we staged a home that had offers for 50k over,

And that was before the open house…

Recently, we staged a home with offers for 50k over asking, even before the open house! The homeowner/renovator chose exquisite finishes making this stage fun and one of our favorites. The home itself asked for transitional with a touch of European. We loved delivering that look. Our clients were thrilled with our work, and that means so much to us. We strive for ease and excellence every time, regardless of price point.

Interested in what makes staging a success? It’s not always what you think it is. Sure, there are beautiful pieces curated to bring sellers into the property and feel at home, but behind the scenes is really where all the magic happens. The teamwork between stagers & homeowners/realtors is really where success is found.

Through all parties working together to deliver the final product, we are able to create properties that sell fast & higher.

Here are some of the specific things that the client did that helped us work as a team:

  • 100% committed to the magic of staging

  • Aware of our contract perimeters, because they’ve read the fine print

  • Believing in the value of our work & willing to pay our prices, no haggling

  • Timely with communication regarding staging & de-staging

  • Understanding our schedule constraints and quick to help us plan walkthroughs, staging, and destaging dates

  • Ready to sign and pay once bid is secure

  • Trusting us with the process: We want to make staging as easy as possible, so while it might feel like the opposite thing to do while prepping a house to go on the market, having a hands-off approach allows us to stage your home & help it sell higher & faster

Moral of the Story:

We want to make our staging process seamless and profitable. Teamwork is the best way to do that. This project is a great example of the type of clients with whom we align and want to work with again.
